Dr William Dall
Marine biologist and research scientist for over 4 decades, and AMSA Silver Jubilee Award Winner in 1991.
In 1976 Dr William Dall was awarded the DSc by the University of Queensland for his outstanding research in crustacean physiology. He is considered a world authority in his field, with many publications and accolades to his credit. One of his greatest professional satisfactions was the establishment of the Cleveland Marine Laboratory within the Division of Fisheries, CSIRO, where he was Officer-in-Charge and research director from 1975 to his retirement in 1990.
